The Le Marche Spice Flavored Black Tea blend from English Tea Store is an excellent spiced tea combining the taste of cinnamon with delicious fruity tones.
A naturally flavored black tea, we use natural high grown Ceylon tea from estates at more than 5500 feet above sea level. We then add natural flavor to give a clean true taste with no chemical aftertaste.
The blend was originally conceived by the French Governor of Marrakesh at the height of the French empire - hence the French name, Le Marché. He served the tea to the foreign dignitaries whowould regularly visit his residence which was situated just a short walk from the Bazaar. He loved the combination of spices for its ability to cool the body down in the sultry Moroccan climate and the way it blended with the sweet oranges the country is famous for.
98% or more of this tea comes from estates that are part of the Ethical Tea Partnership. The ETP is an initiative started within the tea industry to monitor and regulate living and working conditions on estates around the world.
